Today we proudly announce that we have just released the first MAPC-package for the 2013 edition. You can find it here:
This package includes the MASSim-Server plus the 2013-scenario, a monitor for debugging, two simple dummy-agents for testing (as well as two teams from 2012) and the documentation. The documentation would be the first thing to have a look at.
A quick start guide is also available here: Getting Started
The scenario itself is now stable, however, we would like to ask you for some feedback regarding the agent's parameters. If you think it is unbalanced, please let us know. Of course we will also improve the visualization again.
Let me briefly describe the changes since the 2012 version and highlight the new features for developers:
Last but not least, we are running the test server already now. If you are interested in testing your connection, play against other teams etc. let us know.
At the moment we have started to prepare the 2013 version, i.e., implementing new features and completing the documentation. Changes will be in the visualization and the map generation. Also we will change the way actions depend on the visibility range.
If you're interested in the contest please consider registering to our Mailing List. We would be glad if you would consider taking part this year.
Additionally, we compiled the results of the 2012 version. All results, charts and tables are included in the Technical Report (published in the next days). A shorter version can be found in the ProMAS 2012 post-proceedings (published soon).
And last but not least if you're on facebook you can subscribe to our site.
